Chennai: Man reports on chain snatchers to police; gets killed

The Deccan Chronicle reports that T. Benny (35) was allegedly murdered by two chain snatching accused near Sunguvar Chathiram in Kancheepuram on Thursday evening after they learnt that Benny had reported about them to the cops. The report further added that Benny, who ekes out a living as a painter, regularly informed the police on locals involved in petty thefts. Police are on the lookout for the absconding duo.
