CASE FILED AGAINST ASSISTANT COMMISSIONER FOR BRIBERY

According to reports, a case has been filed against Assistant Commissioner of Thirumangalam range, Kamil Basha. After allegations that he received bribes, a surprise search at the ACP's office was issued by the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC). Reportedly, Rs 5 lakh was seized during the examination conducted at Kamil Basha's office.
Due to bribery charges, a case has been filed against him under two sections.
