The Madurai district collector Veera Raghava Rao has reportedly issued a clarification on the recent guidelines for bull-tamers ahead of Jallikattu. Earlier, reports suggested that Aadhaar card is mandatory for the tamers to participate in the event. However, the Collector has clarified that the tamers can submit any of their recognised identity cards.
