Kanimozhi’s speech on Tirupati god creates controversy

The Hindu Munnani, a Hindu out fit in Tamil Nadu, has reportedly filed a complaint with Chennai police commissioner against DMK parliamentarian Kanimozhi for her remarks on Tirupati Venkatachalapathy at the World Atheist Conference in Trichy over three days back. Kanimozhi at the meeting reportedly said that, during a visit to the temple along with some other MPs, one MP told her that why she can’t believe in god when “all their wishes are being granted and they are being protected.” She further reportedly added, “I then asked him, there is a hundi right in front of the God. Why is there a security personnel with a stun gun protecting it? People who run the temple are not confident that God can protect the hundi. Why should I believe in God?”
