5-year-old boy crushed to death in Tirunelveli

A 5-year-old boy was reportedly crushed to death when an incomplete concrete pillar fell on him at Sankarankovil in Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu on Friday.

The boy was playing at his home when the pillar collapsed and fell on him at around 11:00 am on Friday.

A case has been registered under Section 174 (unnatural death due to accidental fall) of the CrPC.
