Three die in Vellore of asphyxiation while cleaning tank at factory

Three men, Selvam aged 25, Kothandan aged 23 and Ranganathan aged 41 died due to asphyxiation on Monday afternoon when they entered a tank to clean it. Allegedly, the three men were cleaning chemical waste from the tank of Maruti Leathers in Ambur with no protection gear on them.

 

Kothandan allegedly died while trying to save Selvam and Ranganathan also died after attempting to rescue them.
