1-YEAR-OLD TRAGICALLY DIES AFTER SUFFERING ELECTRIC SHOCK

A 1-year-old child reportedly died after being struck by electric shock in Selaiyur near Kancheepuram on Monday. Reports say, the child's father was holding the child in a balcony where an electric wire was passing nearby. The child accidentally touched the wire and suffered an electric shock; both parents who attempted to save the child were also seriously injured in the incident. Unfortunately, the child died on the spot and the parents are receiving treatment at Kilpauk government hospital.
