During the match between Australia and South Africa A, Australian skipper Steve Smith was seen laughing uncontrollably after his side’s opener Cameron Bancroft suffered a minor wardrobe malfunction. Bancroft ran towards the boundary to recover the ball as it was sent to third-man boundary when his jockstrap snapped. Bancroft later explained, “Obviously I field at bat-pad so I keep my jockstrap with my box in it or whatever and an old jockstrap just sort of snapped a bit, down the bottom. So the box part was hanging out and kind of moving around a fair bit in there.”
