BIG BLOW FOR CSK AND INDIA JUST BEFORE THE WORLD CUP !!! MIDDLE-ORDER BATSMAN INJURED !!!

Kedar Jadhav, who is not only a big part of the CSK unit but also a major part of India's World cup plans in the middle order has just injured his shoulders in the match against the Kings XI Punjab while diving on the boundary to stop the ball. He was immediately taken off the field as he clearly looked in pain.

Stephen Fleming, CSK's coach said "Kedar Jadhav's getting an x-ray and a scan tomorrow, We're hopeful for him. I don't think we'll see him again in this tournament for us. So now his attention will turn to what it looks like for the World Cup. He's in some discomfort but we just need to be accurate with our assessments tomorrow. Fingers crossed that it's nothing too serious but it didn't look that good."

India will be hoping for him to recover before the start of the world cup. In case he is ruled out, players like Ambati Rayudu or Rishabh Pant who are in standby are possible replacements.
