Australian Batsman Steve Smith has joined the Australian Squad for world cup preparation.

Steve Smith who was struggling with the elbow injury coming into the IPL didn't have the most fluent start to the season but got into some form towards the end of the tournament as he also got back to back fifties.

Getting back to the Australian nets, Steve Smith first started off facing the spinners before switching to the pacers. He did look in good touch against the Spinners but it looked like he was not very comfortable facing the quick bowlers like Starc who himself is coming after a break and looks like he is back at his best bowling fast.

Steve Smith will be hoping to get the Elbow fixed soon and with more practice sessions, will want to get back to full flow.
