IPL chairman seeks govt\'s help for conducting IPL matches in Chennai.

Indian Premier League chairman Rajeev Shukla reportedly contacted the Union Home Secretary Rajiv Gauba and sought for increased security for all the seven IPL matches to be held in Chennai.

Several parties protested against the IPL match in Chepauk stadium on Tuesday demanding the suspension of the game at a time when the state was struggling to form the Cauvery Management Board to meet the basic necessities of the farmers. Over 4,000 policemen have been deployed for the protection of players and to run the match without any disruption on Tuesday.
