WhatsApp leak: SEBI launches probe

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has reportedly launched a probe into data leak of share trading companies which were out on WhatsApp before the stock exchanges were disclosed. Reports say, investigations are underway to check who traded in the stocks at the time of leak and a report is expected to SEBI submitted soon. TOI reports say, the leak of data was in connection to major companies including CIPLA, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, Tata Steel, Wipro, Bajaj Finance and several others.
