In New Delhi, Union transport minister Nitin Gadkari reportedly proposed that by clicking pictures of illegally parked vehicles and sending it to the concerned authorities, citizens can get a 10 percent reward from the Rs 500 fine imposed on the owner of illegally parked vehicles. He further added that it’s shameful that people are forced to park on the road due to absence of parking lots.
