Every Indian was waiting for this big day but it ended up heartbreaking after the space agency announced that it lost contact with Chandrayaan 2 lander during a historic moon landing attempt.

Following that, it was an emotional moment for every Indian. Not just that, even Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) chairman K Sivan broke down after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address to scientists over Chandrayaan-2. 

After his address, when Prime Minister was leaving the ISRO centre in Bengaluru, Sivan had an emotional moment and outburst while greeting him.

In the video, Prime Minister Modi can be seen hugging Sivan and consoling him. He is also seeing, patting Sivan’s back. By looking at Sivan, Prime Minister Modi can also be seen getting emotional in a bid to pacify him.

During his address at the ISRO centre, Prime Minister Modi encouraged the ISRO members for the road ahead. 

“We will rise to the occasion and scale newer heights of success. To our scientists I want to say - India is with you! You are exceptional professionals who have made an incredible contribution to national progress,” Prime Minister said.

Claiming that 'science is never satisfied with results', Prime Minister Modi further said, “Today I can proudly say that the effort was worth it and so was the journey. Our team worked hard, travelled far and these very teachings will remain with us. The learning from today will make us stronger and better.”

Further giving encouragement to all standing there, Prime Minister Modi stated that, "There is no failure in science, only experiments and efforts. Every experiment, every effort is made to sow new seeds of knowledge. The foundation of new possibilities is laid and makes us realize our immense power,” he finally asserted.
