According to reports, the telecom sector which has been on the decline will face 80,000-90,000 job losses in the next two-three quarters. Based on a survey carried out among mid-level employees of 65 telecom and hardware service providers, the sector has already lost about 40,000 jobs and the trend is only likely to increase. According to reports, salary hike is also dull in the industry and employees have already begun to seek other opportunities.
