Survey reveals how popular the PM is in South India

According to the Spring 2017 Global Attitudes Survey conducted by Pew Research Center, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is found to be the most popular politician in South India, registering 95% favourable votes. However, the PM’s popularity is comparatively lower at the national level with 88% favourable votes. The survey recorded the views of 2,464 respondents. Eight out of 10 respondents believe that the present economic condition in India is good and are satisfied with the country’s development, the survey report said.
