A 28-year-old former software company employee was reportedly arrested for robbery and is suspected to be a serial rapist who could have raped over 50 women in Chennai. Police reports say, recorded evidence on his phone revealed that he sexually assaulted women and then recorded it to blackmail them. Velacherry police detained him for robbery at knife point, however, after investigations he reportedly admitted that he used the videos to repeatedly rape women and enjoyed watching them.
