FLIGHT HITS RUNWAY LIGHT WHILE TAKING OFF

According to reports, Sri Lankan airlines, UL-168 hit a runway light on Sunday while taking off from Cochin. The flight reportedly had 227 on board.
The airline's wheel was damaged and the flight had to be cancelled for the passengers. The runway was also closed down for some time, while restoration took place. It has been reported that the runway has been opened again.
According to reports, all the passengers are safe.
