Wow… Good news! Southern Railway goes green

The Southern Railway has become one of the green railway zones in the country by installing as many as 86,291 LED lights in all 714 stations. After the Union railway budget, the Southern Railway switched from power consuming fluorescent lights to 100% energy-efficient LED lights. According to a press release, the lights will give better illumination and will last longer.
