In Tripura, the Bharatiya Janata Party and its allies have secured 43 seats, ousting the Left, which won 16 seats. The BJP is expected to form the Government in Tripura. Meanwhile, in Nagaland, the BJP and its allies have won 29 seats whereas the Naga People’s Front (NPF) and its allies have also won 29 seats. In Meghalaya, the Congress has secured 29 seats; National People’s Party (NPP) has won 29 seats, while the BJP has won 2 seats.
