A stage under construction at the Puttingal Devi temple at Paravur in Kerala reportedly collapsed on Monday, leaving nine injured, of which two are said to be in a critical condition. According to reports, over 50 labourers were involved in the construction of the stage and the roof of the stage collapsed when most of the workers left the spot. All injured have been admitted to nearby hospitals and police are investigating the matter.
