According to reports, the family of a 55-year-old woman alleged that she died on Friday after a hospital in Haryana’s Sonipat allegedly refused her treatment until her Aadhaar card was submitted. Shakuntala Devi, wife of Havaldar Laxman Dass who died during the Kargil gun battle on June 9, 1999, had throat cancer and was also a heart patient. However, the Tulip Hospital in Sonipat has denied the allegations.
