FORMER CRICKETER SPENDS RS 7 LAKH FOR 'MEAL OF A LIFETIME'

Former cricketer-turned-commentator Aakash Chopra recently had a 'meal of a lifetime' and ended up becoming the talk of the town. Chopra took to Twitter like all millennials to post a picture of his hotel bill. The bill amount, however, ended up boggling people's minds.

The bill contained basic Indian dishes like paneer tikka and veg kebab but the total amounted to a whopping Rs 7 lakh. However, on a closer look, the bill was not at a super expensive hotel but was the result of currency conversion.

Chopra had reportedly eaten at a hotel in Indonesia, where one Indian Rupee is equal to 210 Indonesian Rupee. What seemed like an expensive meal, was just a meal worth Rs 3,334 in Indian rupees.
