Just two months after Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the new Hitech City Station on the elevated east-west corridor of Hyderabad metro, a fire broke out in one of the rooms there. Reportedly, the fire broke out due to sparks that flew because of welding works happening. The fire was immediately extinguished and officials assured that such incidents will not take place again.
