The Nicobar Islands felt tremors as an earthquake of magnitude 5.2 hit the region around 5 pm on Friday, say reports. While no reports of damage have emerged yet, the Indian Meteorological Department has estimated the depth of the epicentre at around 10 km. More details are awaited.
