CBI ARRESTS BJP POLITICIAN INVOLVED IN UNNAO RAPE CASE

After questioned by the CBI for 15 hours, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) late Friday. After allegations that Sengar raped a teenager in Unnao, he was taken into custody by the CBI for investigation.

According to reports, three different FIRs were lodged against Sengar by the CBI. It said, "The first FIR is related to allegations of rape on the MLA and a woman, the second is of the June 2017 event in which the teenager’s family accused four people of kidnapping and raping her." The third is for the alleged attack on the teenager's father.
