Aadhaar made mandatory for students appearing in board exams in UP

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad reportedly made Aadhaar mandatory for appearing in the upcoming Class 10 and 12 board exams which are scheduled to start from February 6. Reportedly, students without Aadhaar cards will not be allowed to appear in the examination and if any student is deprived of the absence of Aadhaar then the school principal will be responsible for it. The move has been made to curb fraudulent registrations and many other malpractices
