A government employee was show-cause notice in Rajasthan

According to the report by the Times of India, Vishal Singh Solanki, a government employee in Rajasthan seems to have landed in trouble because of repeatedly twirling his moustache. The act of twirling moustache (Meesaya Murukku)  has been widely recognised as a sign of masculinity in our country.

The report says that Vishal Singh Solanki, a social security officer of the social justice and empowerment department had repeatedly twisted his moustache in front of senior officers and he was issued a show-cause notice by Jai Prakash Charan, the deputy director of the department. The notice says that Vishal has been twirling his moustache even in office times and during conversations with senior officials.

“Recently, during a video conference, he was warned by senior officials to sit straight and not to twirl his moustache. He was also told that those who do not have a moustache and are seated in a straight position are no less than others,” the notice added further as reported by the Times of India.

Reportedly Vishal Singh Solanki has been given three days of time to give an explanation for negligence and ignoring the orders of seniors. In the case of failing to give an explanation, he would have to face disciplinary action that will be taken against him.
