85% Indians trust their government: Survey

According to a new survey by the Pew Research Center, more than four-fifths of Indian citizens trust the government but a majority also support military rule and autocracy in the country. The Pew survey based on governance and trust among key countries said, “In India, where the economy has grown on average by 6.9% since 2012, 85% (of people) trust their national government”. The survey also added that half of both Indians (53%) and South Africans (52%) say the military rule would be a good thing for their countries.
