According to reports, around 15,621 personnel got their appointment orders for departments such as police, fire and rescue, and prisons. Out of the four transgenders who were appointed, two received their appointment orders from Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami for their postings in Cuddalore and Krishnagiri. After Prithika Yashini, the first transgender police officer, 23-year-old Prabha will be joining duty at Krishnagiri district Armed Police Force and another transgender, Dakshayini will be posted in Cuddalore.
