A 28-year-old woman reportedly committed suicide at her residence in Katpadi, after suffocating her 15-month-old son to death. She reportedly cut her wrist with a kitchen knife before hanging from the ceiling. Reportedly, the woman and her husband had had a petty quarrel at their home in Katpadi. The woman’s husband, who works in Trichy committed suicide at his home in Pudukkottai after he returned from his work.
