Dhanush's debut directorial, Pa.Paandi is being remade in Kannada, as we all know. The Kannada remake rights of the movie was secured by Kichcha Sudeep, who is reprising Dhanush's role.
 

Titled as Ambi Ning Vayassaytho, this film features veteran Kannada actor and politician Ambareesh playing Rajkiran's role. Apart from Ambareesh and Sudeep, the cast also includes Suhasini Maniratnam (Revathi's role) and Sruthi Hariharan (Madonna Sebastian's role).

Names like Khushboo and Ramya Krishnan were rumoured to be in consideration to play Revathi's role, but now, it will be Suhasini Maniratnam.

Directed by Gurudattha Ganiga, Ambi Ning Vayassaytho has the screenplay written by Sudeep himself.
