Chezhiyan's ToLet wins the Best Tamil Film award at National Awards

The 65th National Film Awards are currently being announced by the jury team, headed by Shekhar Kapur at Delhi. And now, the Best Regional Film (Tamil), has been revealed. 


To Let, directed by Chezhiyan,  has won the award for the Best Tamil Film. Chezhiyan is a renowned cinematographer who has worked in films like Kalloori, Joker, Thaarai Thappattai, Sawaari and others. To Let is the directorial debut of Chezhiyan.

Studio 9 Suresh becomes a cop!
Cinematographer Chezhiyan who is renowned for his work in films like Paradesi and the latest Thaarai Thappattai, is gearing up to mark his directorial debut. It's a well known fact that cinematographer turned film makers like PC Sreeram, KV Anand and Balu Mahendra have already carved a niche for themselves in the Tamil film industry as directors.
 
This yet to be titled venture will feature RK Suresh and Mysskin in the lead roles as cops. Suresh who impressed people as villain in Bala's Tharai thappattai will be seen sporting a handlebar moustache and a rugged cop physique in the film. Buzzed to be an action loaded family entertainer, the film will go on floors soon.
