Cheeyan
Vikram is always a lively spirited person
with the press. In an interview held recently,
he was replying to a question about the
latest rumour that he would be sharing the
screen space with Amitabh Bachchan.
He
brushes it aside with a guffaw saying
that an extremely imaginative mind
only can create news like this. Of
course, it is natural for anyone to
harbour such a desire to act with
the legendary icon of Indian cinema.
At this juncture, he was also fondly
recalling an incident which transpired
during his school days. One of his
close friends was interested in a
girl. One day the girl herself took
the initiative of handing a love letter
to his friend. When Vikram’s
friend informed this to him, he encouraged
the latter to give an appropriate
reply.
But
his friend being weak in English relied
more on Vikram’s writing skills and
had handed over the responsibility of aiding
him in his love. Cheeyan also heeded to
this request and penned a very flowery letter
to the girl on behalf of his friend. Eventually,
their love had blossomed and culminated
in school life itself. Even now, while reminiscing
about his school days, this incident brings
an instant smile to Vikram’s face.
