The
very mention of the name Namitha brings
along with it a glamour tag. When her name
figures in a film, it attracts a different
set of audience. Of course, the clothes
that she drapes on have also become a hot
topic of discussion in various circles.
Incidentally,
she hails from Surat which is considered
as the destination for textile business
in India. Her father is a well known
figure there running a huge business
of textiles there. Whenever Namitha
is free from acting schedules here,
she rushes to her home town only to
return to Chennai with stuffed suitcase
full of clothes from Surat which she
gifts to all and sundry here.
But Namitha is disheartened now as
the recent flood situation has caused
havoc in her father's factory resulting
in huge losses. She is not able to
gift clothes to her friends now.
Of
course the situation is slowly improving.
We sincerely hope that by the time she visits
Surat next time, the state-of-affairs would
have been brought under control and her
friends are showered with gift galore.
