Gautham
Menon and Nick Arts Chakravarthy were
to produce Silandi on first copy basis.
Later this was dropped due to financial
issues when Oscar Ravichandran came
to their rescue and the film was rechristened
as ‘Pachaikili Muthucharam’.
Now the film is nearing completion
and would be ready for release soon.
Oscar, in Kodambakkam circles is known
as Godfather who has the reputation
of pumping oxygen in to all the wilting
films.
Oscar was the one who released Vettaiyadu
Vilayadu along with obtaining city
rights for the film. As part of his
next venture Ravichandran would be
releasing Poi and Mozhi for Prakash
Raj’s duet films.
The
release dates for these two movies would
be finalized and informed soon to the
press. In an industry when mammoth efforts
could run into rough weather due to money
problems, here is one man who appears
like a ray of hope for all aspiring film
makers.
