Vidya Balan, the doe-eyed Mumbai Tamil girl hit
the headlines last year for her excellent performance
in Parineeta. Not many know that she acted in
a Tamil film before that and was conveniently
forgotten. Post-Parineeta, she got a couple of
offers in Hindi and she got busy. Now, the news
is that she has been approached to play the lead
opposite Kamal in his forthcoming Dasavatharam.
Asin is already on the project and the other heroines
would be announced soon. Kamal plays ten different
characters in the film and each would have a female
co-star. Quite a novelty! There is also the buzz
that Vidya has been roped in by Mani Ratnam for
his next film, Guru in which Abhishek Bachan and
Aishwarya Rai are in the lead. Way to go, lady,
keep it up! |
