After Lagaan and Swades, Ashutosh Gwariker has
turned his attention to a historical drama. This
film would be based on Emperor Akbar’s romances.
While the theme does seem quite prone to kicking
up a controversy, Ashutosh has already spoken
to historians at Jamia Millia Islamia in New Delhi
and got their clearance about the accuracy of
historical facts. He is therefore hopeful that
the film would be made and released without any
hitches. The most important part of the news is
that heartthrob Hrithik Roshan would be playing
the great emperor and his leading lady would be
none other than Aishwarya Rai. We hope the pair
is able to kindle the same passion as between
Akbar and his wife, Jodha. |
