Madhavan showered praise on the director Seeman
in Bangalore for a special screening of Thambi
for giving him a great reopening in Tamil. He
said that while Mani Ratnam had cast him in a
different character in Aytha Ezhuthu, it was Seeman
who had tailored the Thambi character so nicely.
Playing Thambi had been his most exciting and
challenging experience, which he did not get even
in Mani’s Aytha Ezhuthu. He said that when
he went abroad, people appreciated him for Anbe
Sivam, while in Tanjore, Trichy and Madurai, people
liked him in Run. He hoped that Thambi would be
liked by all. |
