In
a fraudulent case against Vijayakanth
in Srivilliputhur court, the Madurai
High court has waived him from appearing
for the proceedings of the lower
court. Earlier Vijayakanth was sued
by one of the distributors of Tirunelveli
named ‘Mariammal’ of
the movie ‘Narasimma’.
Mariammal
has accused Vijayakanth of promising
to repay her if the movie fails
to make profitable returns. Mariamma
stated in her petition that Vijayakanth
failed to repay her a sum of 26
lakhs, being the loss she incurred
due to the movie ‘Narasimma’.
