Thirumagan
is an upcoming film directed by Rathnakumar
and produced by Thanu. It was more
in the news due to the link up of
its lead heroine Meera Jasmine with
the hero S J Suryah. According to
industry talks, this film has shaped
up well and would be ready to hit
the screen soon.
But
a latest development may turn out to be a potential
factor to rock the boat.
According to the grapevine, director Rathnakumar
has accommodated his close actress friend in the
film and has accordingly altered the content of
the movie. This has triggered a confrontation
between the producer and director. Thanu avers
that the core theme of the film is distorted due
to the introduction of this new character. As
a result the rest of the post production work
and editing has been handed over to S J Suryah
by the producer. Rathnakumar, on the other hand
for obvious reasons, is red with rage due to this.
Now he has lodged a complaint with the Producer’s
council against Thanu.
