the Tamil version, Aran, Mohanlal’s
role is dubbed by actor Rajiv. Mohanlal
seems to be furious on this and slammed
the movie makers stating that he was not
approached for the dubbing and that Jeeva’s
part is enhanced in Aran to highlight his
performance.
Jeeva responded to these allegations by
stating that Mohanlal demanded exorbitant
sums for dubbing and that he flew to London
not bothering about the movie’s release.
We had no time to wait for him since the
movie’s release date was close, Jeeva
said. Damn the reasons, some extra publicity
won’t hurt, will it?
