you thought the City Police Commissioner’s
Office is no news material, you are mistaken.
Namitha added glitz to the otherwise serene
Police Commissioner’s office here
today. Namitha came sans make up and it
was hard for the policemen to recognize
her. Upon self-introduction, she was guided
to the Addl. Police Commissioner Mr. Jankit’s
office whom she wanted to meet. |

She
had her boyfriend Bharath Kapoor
by her side who she said is running
a tele-shopping outlet in Nungambakkam.
Bharath is involved in issues relating
to property and in that regard has
been receiving anonymous threatening
calls from persons to extort money
from him. Mr. Jankit insisted that
she lodge a written complaint and
assured that her complaint will
be taken care of.
News of Namitha’s presence
in the Police Commissioner’s
Office sparked interest and when
she was out, a mob of photographers
and fans wanting to catch a glimpse
of her thronged the Commissioner’s
Office.

Namitha
seeked Police’s assistance to clear
the crowd but the Policemen expressed their
inability to do so. Following this, Namitha
ordered for an alternate car and took off.
Police Commissioner’s office responded
that Namitha met Mr. Jankit at a notebook
distribution ceremony for school children,
organized by the Jain society yesterday
and complained that her boyfriend is receiving
extortion calls from anonymous people. Mr.
Jankit advised Namita to visit his office
and lodge a complaint in this regard.
