'Paruthiveeran' Karthi has a complaint. Though delighted with the film's success and at the receiving end of the shower of accolades, the young actor does not want to get caught in the image rut. He senses that this will have a huge impact on his career in the long-run.

However, stars seem to favor this talented actor, as he was roped in by Selvaraghavan for his next project 'idu maalai nerathu mayakkam'. The director is likely to play a pivotal role in helping Karthi shed his Paruthiveeran image.
Another venture in the pipeline for Karthi is Lingusamy's yet-to-be-named movie, which will commence once Karthi and Lingusamy completes idu maalai nerathu mayakkam and Bheema respectively.
With successive offers from prolific directors, Paruthiveeran Karthi, ooops! Karthi will perhaps move out of Paruthiveeran mold sooner than anticipated.
