Will Rajini grace Billa's inaugural function?
By Behindwoods News Bureau.
April 9, 2007
The Ajith, Namitha, Nayantara starrer Billa 2007 is scheduled to commence formally on the 13th of April. It was announced that Rajinikanth and Sripirya who featured in the original version of the film will grace the launch function of this film. But now, doubts have been cast about super star's participation in this event.
According to industry sources, the recent death of a sound technician of Sivaji at a party might prompt the media to quiz the super star on this issue. They feel that he may not be very keen to answer such queries and may keep himself away from the launch ceremony of the film. Therefore the Billa team has decided to conduct the inaugural function in a grand manner if Rajinikanth decides to come; otherwise it is going to be a solemn affair. On the 4th of May, Billa team proceeds to Malaysia for shooting.
