The only movie that Asin has in her hand is
the Telugu flick Annavaram. The Hindi version
of Gajini, in which Asin is supposed to play
the lead role, is yet to take off. Now that
she has a lot of time in her hand, she accepts
offers of ads and presence at public events
such as inaugural ceremonies. Hearing that she
was free, the producers of the Prashanth starrer
Runaway approached her with an offer. Asin,
you know is choosy about films, wanted to listen
to the story first. The director made a big
effort to make the story as impressive as possible
but Asin was not satisfied. “The heroine
role has no substance,” she brushed off
the director.
