Cheran has sold his Autograph Hindi remake rights
Rajkumar Santhoshi and has said that he would
not remake it. The Hindi director could make
small changes to the story if they find that
could appeal to the Hindi moviegoer. “I
don’t want to make a movie in a language
that I don’t know,” he says answering
why he didn’t want to direct the Hindi
version. However, he is interested in making
a movie in English and wouldn’t miss an
opportunity if it came.
Does Cheran want to work with Kamal? “I
don’t have the experience to work with
a stalwart like him but I wouldn’t miss
a chance if the right time and right story came
about,” smiles this man.
