Neetu Chandra was initially
signed up to star alongside Ajith in Mankatha.
But the latest news in Kollywood is that
the film’s director Venkat Prabhu has decided
to replace Neetu with Trisha.
Though the reasons for Neetu’s departure
is not clear, unofficial sources say that
it could be her involvement in the Pakistan
match fixing scandal. It may be recalled
that Neetu’s mobile number featured in
the mobile of Pakistani player Mohammad
Asif caught for match fixing.
If Trisha is signed up for this project,
it would be her third film with Ajith
after Kireedom and Ji.
