After the success of
Paiyaa, director Lingusamy has announced
his next venture. Titled Vettai, this movie
will be produced and distributed by Cloud
Nine movies who also distributed Paiyaa.
Arya, the hero of the movie, has been paired
with Tamannah this time. It was earlier
announced that Madhavan will be a part of
the movie. He was supposed to act in the
movie as Arya's brother. The latest news
is that Madhavan has backed out of the project.
The reasons for his withdrawal are still
unknown.
Vettai will also have Yuvan Shankar Raja
scoring the music and Nirav Shah wielding
the camera. Anthony will take care of
the editing department. Vettai will be
on the floors soon and is expected to
be released in Summer 2011.
