Madhavan is in the final leg of the shoots of Manmadhan Ambu, which is being held in and around Chennai. But for this, the rest of the movie is largely wrapped up. The crew has been shooting across the globe for the past couple of months. It's also learnt that Madhavan will associate with Kamal for another project after MA’s shooting is over. Reliable sources state that the new project will be announced after MA's release.

Madhavan was part of many of Kamal's movies including Anbe Sivam and the movies produced by Kamal, namely Nala Damayanthi. Apart from their association in films, it's also known among film circles that Maddy and Kamal are very good friends.
